Jeroen W.J. van der Linden is owner of Blue-Ant. As consultant he has more than 23 years of international experience with commercial deployment of Renewable Energy (RE) Technologies and is well versed with business modelling and market activation for off-grid solutions including solar PV, clean cooking solutions and micro/mini-grids. He has a proven track record in supporting Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with identification of investment opportunities, business development and finance acquisition. Jeroen has assisted various clients with carrying out market assessments and identifying investment opportunities to support private and PPP investments involving various technologies and energy uses (solar PV, IPP, Captive Power, clean cooking, mini-grids, productive use, energy efficiency).
He is acquainted with designing energy market acceleration strategies and renewable energy funds, and with advising governments and development partners on appropriate policy regulations. Jeroen has designed and implemented various Inclusive Business (IB) models in both the energy and agriculture value chains. The focus of his work has always been on the economic inclusion of the lower income brackets of the Base-of-the-Pyramid (BoP).
Jeroen holds a Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) in International Technology and Development Sciences (ITDS) and a Bachelor’s Degree (Ing.) in Electrical Engineering.
